Farm Boy is set to open its first store in Oshawa, Ontario this month. This will be their 48th store and the 19th in the greater Toronto area.  Purchased by Empire Co. Ltd. in 2018, it has become one of the shining banners for the company which also includes Sobeys, Safeway and Longos.

New Farm Boy stores will also open in Port Credit and Burlington this year.  Port Credit will be the anchor tenant of the 72 acre Brightwater master-planned community and is the first store for the chain in Mississauga, Ontario.
