The Retail Council of Canada has announced the winners of the Canadian Grand Prix New Products Awards for 2023. A total of 51 awards were presented to exceptional companies that introduced outstanding products into the Canadian market in 2022.  We are pleased to report that Prelam Enterprises won the Household Category for their EZ Pur Eco Concentrated Laundry Detergent.

EZ Pur is made with plant and mineral ingredients and is ultra concentrated in a small packet that is light weight and easy to transport.  It can be mixed with water at home in an existing laundry detergent jug thereby reducing plastic waste.  It has a low suds formula compatible with all machine types and is free from phosphates and bleach making it eco-friendly.

Metro Inc. has officially launched the Moi rewards program in its Metro, Super C, Brunet and Première Moisson banners in Quebec and all Jean Coutu stores in Quebec, Ontario, and New Brunswick. Moi will allow consumers to earn points in close to 900 stores and redeem them instantly at the checkout to save more on their everyday essentials.

As part of the company’s overall digital strategy customers will be able to take full advantage of the complementary nature of our food and pharmacy networks. “We are thus uniting the voices of five major retailers where 97% of Quebec households shop during the year.” said Alain Tadros, vice president, marketing, Metro. It will now be easier for customers to earn and redeem points to save on groceries, beauty products, and health products.
